He applied with his community in mind.
Immerse is for pastors who are carrying a burden for their neighborhoods and are ready to take the next faithful step.
Immerse is helping our church move from concern to concrete action for the young people in our city. The journey has given us language, tools, and partners to create the kind of safe spaces every child deserves. For us at Meeting Place Church, applying to Immerse was a step toward shaping Charlotte’s children like arrows toward their God-given purpose, potential, and promise.

Accessible by design. Substantial by commitment.
Immerse is a ministry of TMS Global, not a consulting product. The track fee is structured to make the journey accessible to churches that are doing the work — regardless of budget size. What you invest in dollars is a fraction of what the journey gives back.
Cultural Immersion is included for the pastor and up to two leaders — travel, lodging, and meals fully covered.

Have questions about the journey, investment, timing, or the Community Impact Grant? Here are answers to what pastors ask most.
When do we need to pay, and what are our options?
No payment is due at enrollment. During your discernment call, we'll discuss a payment arrangement that fits your church's capacity. We offer flexible payment plans and scholarships to ensure cost is never a barrier to participation.
Our goal is to remove financial stress so you can focus on the journey ahead.
What's the time commitment for the 16-month journey?
Immerse is designed to fit into your existing rhythm, not overwhelm it. You'll participate in monthly online gatherings (90 minutes), along with several in-person immersion experiences throughout the year.
Most pastors describe it as sustainable and energizing rather than draining — it's paced for long-term transformation, not quick fixes.
Who from my church should participate?
We recommend bringing a small team — the lead pastor plus 2–3 lay leaders. This ensures you're not carrying the vision alone and creates built-in momentum back home.
What makes Immerse different from other leadership programs?
Immerse isn't just another conference or curriculum. It's a guided, 16-month cohort journey where you learn by experiencing churches and organizations already doing deep community work. You're not just hearing ideas — you're discerning with peers and being coached through implementation in your own context.
It's experiential, relational, and tailored to your city's real needs.
How many churches are in the cohort?
Cohort 2 will include approximately 8–15 pastors. We intentionally keep cohorts small to foster deep relationships, meaningful dialogue, and personalized coaching.
You'll be part of a trusted peer network that extends well beyond the 16 months.
What's included in the investment?
Your church's investment covers all coaching, monthly gatherings, curriculum, tools (including access to Community Playbook), and participation in cultural immersion experiences.
At the end of the journey, eligible churches can access a $500 Community Impact Grant to launch a new, partner-driven initiative in their ZIP code. You can read the full grant details and application process at the Community Impact Grant page: immerseproject.org/impact.
Immerse covers all travel, lodging, and meals for in-person immersion experiences. You won't pay out of pocket for flights, hotels, or food during gatherings.
Is Immerse tied to a specific denomination?
No. Immerse welcomes pastors from all Christian traditions. The cohort is designed to be ecumenical and collaborative. We believe deep community work happens best when churches work together across denominational lines.
