The Problem We’re Tackling

Across the country, pastors and nonprofit leaders are making big decisions with limited, fragmented, or outdated insight. They often feel isolated, wondering:

  • What’s working in communities like mine?

  • Who’s doing it well?

  • How do I know if this tool or approach is really for us?

Ask the Expert was created to bridge that gap, with you.

Where You Fit In

We’re inviting you into a curated group of practitioners, innovators, and domain experts who are:

  • Leading or influencing transformative community work

  • Able to offer insight from real experience, whether in a university, church, nonprofit, agency, or advisory role

  • Willing to share that wisdom in a 15–20 minute recorded conversation that will help others take action with clarity

You don’t have to have a PhD (though we welcome those too). You just need depth, clarity, and a desire to multiply good work.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re curating a small circle of trusted voices. Leaders whose work is rooted in place, shaped by practice, and respected by the communities they serve. This includes:

  • Pastors with hard-won insight from leading in transitional, under-resourced, or overlooked ZIP codes

  • Nonprofit leaders doing the faithful, steady work of restoration and presence

  • Practitioners and agency partners who bridge gaps between systems and the spiritual

  • Researchers, educators, and thought leaders who translate complexity into clarity

  • Domain experts in fields like public health, housing, education, mental health, economic development, and more—whose wisdom can help the Church respond with both compassion and strategy

Whether you lead from a pulpit, a clinic, a classroom, or a community boardroom, if your work has helped people feel seen, safe, or sent, we want to listen.
